Who we are

This website is operated by Padwal & Associates, Advocates & Legal Consultants, Padwal Complex, Near Sane Chowk, Chikhali Akurdi Road, Chikhali, Pune – 411062, Maharashtra, India (“the firm”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal data you share through advpadwal.com, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the area of your enquiry and the brief description you provide.
  • Direct contact: any information you choose to send us by telephone or email.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and request logs, to deliver and secure the website.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the enquiry form. Wait until the firm has confirmed that it can assist you.

How we use it

  • To read and respond to your enquiry.
  • To keep a record of correspondence where required for professional or legal reasons.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, and we do not create profiles from it.

Consent

By submitting the enquiry form you consent to the firm processing the information you provide for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before it was withdrawn.

Service providers

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered to the firm by email through Google (Gmail). These providers process data on our behalf, and may do so outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track visitors. It stores two small preferences in your browser’s local storage: your choice of light or dark theme, and the date you accepted the website disclaimer. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond to you, or for longer if the law or our professional obligations require it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you information about the personal data we hold about you, to correct, complete or update it, or to erase it. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and raise a grievance with us. If your grievance is not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
